Usually, the term "this is my first X" implies a product which is buggy, unblanced, ugly, awkward, boring, and featuring all the maturity and grade of humor of a 12 year old who simultaneously discovered puberty and the internet.
I say usually because you've made a game which has none of those flaws. Probably not front page material, but a very good first game (and better than some users' second, third, and fourth attempts). Nice!
You can't kill enemies in the top row. Firing over the head of enemies counts as a headshot. Arrows do just over jack squat unless they're a headshot. The reload bar blocks a portion of the play area, as does the health bar. Graphics are fugly. WAY too big of a download, you need to learn to compress your audio files before submitting. Levels are stupidly long. Allies stop moving after a fight until a new enemy appears in their row. No reason whatsoever to make clicking a moving target fire the bow, it's needlessly clumsy. How the crap does one reload a bow, anyways?
Given enough time and effort, this could be a good game, but as of right now it's barely worth letting through the protal.
Ummm...to answer your questions in order:
press space. It's the flashing text up near the arrow count.
lol. only 1 question. As for the rest, uhhhhh...how much time did I spend on this? A month mabe...dunno.anyway,A LOT of people complained that your teammates didn't stop when fighting. Make up your minds, people!!! Anyway, it explains everything in the author comments. Flash's fault, not mine! I tried to make them start "walking" again RIGHT after they finished the battle. Sorry. Take it up with the people in macromedia. Crud. Forgot to add a walking animation. Wonder if it's too late to do that yet? Anyway, thaks for the review...I think...
You have not made a game. Game's have objectives and the hope of success. This game has s score, but no means of increasing it. It has attackers, but no means of combating them. It has weaponry, but nothing to shoot. Newgrounds is not the dumping ground for your incomplete crap. Either finish the game, or don't submit this garbage.
You can call it not F.E.A.R. if you want, but it's got a lot stuff from the game, not the least of which is the sound effects, slo-mo, enemies creating cover, and lets not forget badassery. I just wish it was longer, the awesome ended too quickly.
I continue to be surprised at your determination to maintain a connected plot in this series despite the fact that the protagonist dies in every single wone.
Still, I think the bunnykill series has surpassed you in terms of fluidity of animation. This has a grittier feel to it, which I like, but bunnykill is almost like watching a very violent dance.
Very smooth animation, actually synced with the music, but it never really seemed to go anywhere. I kept thinking it was all building to something, but it never did. Make something happen!

A very good start

Somewhere in there is the basis for a good game

Nothing here

Actually, it is complete, you just didn't get to the boss, which the weapons were to be used on.

A good start
Halfway decent art, a shot at humor that's not just shock value, a good start.

They just keep coming

A simple concept
but executed so brilliantly. Everything really is better with smashed chicks. Every kind of smashed chicks.

Good flash, terrible singing
My ears, they bleed! Oh the pain. Seriously, I just shut off my speakers and read the subtitles after a minute.

Hey I remember this
I played this game back in Windows 3.11. That version had smoother animations and better sound. I think I'll go play THAT version instead.

Needs more to be truly excellent
